Professional - Headshots

I’ve been a portrait photographer for many years. Getting folks comfortable in front of the camera is key. Having a good attitude and a fun time at the photo shoot shows in the finished product. 

Knowing what to wear is important when getting your headshot. My suggestion is to wear dark solid colors, nothing too busy. When people are viewing your headshot, they are looking at your eyes and hopefully, a happy face. I have a number of backdrops to choose from, we can discuss this when you contact me for your headshot. If you want to use a prop or your favorite pet, no problem. 

The headshot session is a collaboration. I want to know the vision of what you are looking for. What you like and what you don’t like. If you have any fun ideas, I would like to hear about it. I’m always open to your suggestions. I will create a headshot that will help you convey your confidence and personality. I would like you to have an image of yourself that you are thrilled about when you post it on your business page or social media sites. I will coach you throughout your session to capture your personality, so you look friendly, confident and approachable.  

Eye contact, creative direction, the right lighting and professional and discreet retouching, are all the elements in creating your personal headshot.
